居前

A term used in generative linguistics to refer to a type of relationship between pairs of nodes in a phrase-marker. One node precedes another when it occurs anywhere to the left of the other in the phrase-marker: if it occurs immediately to the left of a node X, the node ‘immediately precedes’X.

生成语言学术语，指短语标记内一对节点之间的一类关系。短语标记中一个节点如出现在另一个节点的左边，就说那个节点“居前”；如果直接出现在节点X的左边，就说“直接居前”于X。
