音子
A term used in phonetics to refer to the smallest perceptible discrete segment of sound in a stream of speech (phonic continuum or phonic substance). From the viewpoint of segmental phonology, phones are the physical realization of phonemes; phonic varieties of a phoneme are referred to as allophones.
语音学用来指语流(“连续音流”或语音实体)中可感知的最小离散音段。从音段音系学的观点,音子是音位的物理实现;一个音位的变体音子称作音位变体。
