A: Have you ever been to the Great Wall of China before?

 

A：您以前去过中国的长城吗？

 

 

B: No, but I’ve always wanted to go.

 

B：没有，但我一直想去。

 

 

A: Great. I’ve organized a car to take us today after breakfast.

 

A：太好了，我已经安排了一辆车今天早饭后送我们去。

 

 

B: That’s fantastic. It’s great to actually see some of the sights while on a business trip. There isn’t always time for that.

 

B：太棒了。出差时能去一些景点看看，实在太好了，因为不是每次都有时间安排这样的活动的。

 

 

A: It’d be a pity to come all the way to China and then not see the Great Wall.

B: Definitely.

A: And you know what they say, you’re not a man until you’ve walked along the Great Wall of China!

B: Is that so? Well, we’d better get a move on then! How long will it take to get there?

 

B：真的吗？那我们赶紧去吧！到长城要多长时间？

 

 

A: It will take about an hour and a half from here.

 

A：从这儿走大约需要一个半小时。

 

 

B: What part of the Great Wall are we going to?

 

B：我们要去长城的哪一段？

 

 

A: We’re going to Badaling. It’s very popular with the tourists.

 

A：我们要去八达岭。那里是旅游热点。

 

 

B: Do you go to the Great Wall often?

 

B：您经常爬长城吗？

 

 

A: I suppose I go about two or three times a year. It’s a great place for hiking, fresh air, and amazing pictures.

 

A：我大约每年会去两三次。那是远足的好地方，空气清新，景色优美。
