①后面接用介词to。

【例】In consideration of your present difficulties, we accede to your proposal.

考虑到你方当前的困难，我们同意你方的建议。

accelerate     

加速

【例】Please do your best to accelerate the preparation of the goods.

请尽力加快准备好货物。

accept

【1】接受

①【例】 We cannot accept your price.

我们不能接受你方的价格。

②注意accept至receive（收到）含义不同。

【例】 We have received your offer, but we regret to say we cannot accept it.

我们收到了你方的报盘，但是很抱歉，我们不能接受。

③表示接受什么时，函电中要用accept或者accepted。

【例】We are glad to inform you that we accept [have accepted] your offer dated January 15.

我们很高兴地通知你方我们接受你方1月15日的报盘。

【2】承认，同意

【例】We accept that we have no alternative but to replace the damaged parts.

我们承认我们只好替换那些已损坏的部件，别无他法。

【3】承兑（票据）

【例】We request you to accept the draft drawn on you.

我们要求你们承兑向你方开出的汇票。

【4】接受（邀请、报价等）

【例】If you accept，please let us know immediately.

如蒙接受，请立即告知我方。
