hesitate

犹豫不决

 

①多接用动词不定式。

【例】If you have any other requirements, please do not hesitate to let us know by return.

如有其他需要，请毫不犹豫地告知我们。

 

②可接用about，over等，加名词或动名词。

【例】We are still hesitating about accepting the invitation to the Fair.

对是否接受参加博览会的邀请，我们仍在犹豫。

他们毫不犹豫地同意了我方的支付条件。

 

high

【1】（价格等）高的

 

【例】Our customers consider your prices (to be) too high to be workable.

我方顾客认为你方价格太高做不开。

 

【2】（质量等）好的

 

【例】Our shoes are of the same high quality as our gloves.

我们鞋的质量同手套一样好。

 

【3】on the high side（价格等）偏高

 

多用作表语。

【例】You must fully aware that our contracted price was on the high side.

你方一定很清楚，我们过去成交的价格偏高。
