各位使团同事，
女士们，先生们，

Dear colleagues from the diplomatic corps,
Ladies and gentlemen,
大家晚上好！感谢各位莅临今晚的招待会，特别是远道而来的各位来宾。我们刚刚进入中国农历新年狗年，我愿借此机会向印尼各界朋友致以节日的问候和良好的祝福。
Selamat malam! Thank you all for being here tonight, especially those who have traveled afar for the event. We have just entered the Lunar Chinese New Year of the Dog. Please accept my New Year greetings.
能够在这重要历史时刻出使印尼，我深感使命光荣。20年前，我就开始从事中印尼关系相关工作。20年来，特别是近年来在习近平主席和佐科总统的坚强领导下，中国和印尼以及中印尼关系都取得了巨大的发展和进步。
I am greatly honored to be Ambassador to Indonesia and I feel lucky to be one at the right time. I started to work on China-Indonesia relations 20 years ago. Over the past 20 years, China has achieved great progress, Indonesia has achieved great progress and China-Indonesia relations have also achieved great progress, especially under the strong leadership of President Xi Jinping and President Joko Widodo in recent years.
双方保持频繁高层往来，深化两国互信。佐科总统5次访华，同习近平主席6次会晤，两国元首就增进中印尼全面战略伙伴关系达成重要共识。双方保持各层级、各领域对话磋商。
We have maintained frequent high-level exchanges and strengthened mutual trust and confidence. President Jokowi visited China five times and President Xi and President Jokowi met six times. The two presidents reached consensus on further strengthening our comprehensive strategic partnership. We have also maintained dialogues and consultations at all levels covering various areas.
两国经济纽带更加紧密。中国连续7年成为印尼最大贸易伙伴。2017年，中印尼贸易额达633亿美元，同比增长18.3%。其中印尼对华出口增长33%，进一步实现双边贸易平衡发展。中国对印尼投资达34亿美元，同比增长超过30%。包括雅万高铁在内的一系列重要合作项目正稳步推进。基础设施、产能、数字经济等两国合作新动能不断涌现。
Our economic and trade relations have grown from strength to strength. China is Indonesia’s largest trading partner for seven consecutive years. Our bilateral trade figure for last year reached 63.3 billion US dollars, a 18.3% increase compared to the previous year. And the good news for Indonesia is that the Indonesian export to China has risen by 33%, making our trade relations more balanced. Chinese investment in Indonesia reached 3.4 billion US dollars last year, an increase of more than 30%. Major cooperation projects including the Jakarta-Bandung High-speed Railway are well under construction. Meanwhile, new driving forces keep emerging in such sectors as infrastructure, industrial capacity and digital economy, expanding and deepening our practical cooperation.
两国人文交流再谱新篇。2017年，中国到印尼游客首次突破200万，达到206万人次，稳居印尼最大海外游客来源国。印尼在华留学生人数超过1.4万，中国成为印尼第二大留学目的地。大熊猫 “彩陶”和“湖春”在印尼安家落户，带来了中国人民对印尼人民的真挚情谊。
The vigorous people-to-people and cultural exchanges between our two countries have reached historical new height. China ranked as Indonesia’s largest source of foreign tourists. The number of Chinese tourists to Indonesia reached 2.06 million last year, breaking a new record. More than 14,000 Indonesians are studying in China, making China the second most popular overseas education destination for Indonesian students. Last September, two Chinese giant pandas, Cai Tao and Hu Chun, made their home in Indonesia, contributing to the ever closer friendship between our people.

Ladies and gentlemen,
今年是中国改革开放40周年。经过40年的努力，中国已成为世界第二大经济体，GDP总量超过12万亿美元，对世界经济增长的贡献率超过30%。中共十九大规划了中国从现在到本世纪中叶的发展蓝图，宣示了中方愿同各方推动构建人类命运共同体的真诚愿望。
This year marks the 40th anniversary of China’s reform and opening-up. Four decades of relentless efforts have turned China into the world’s second largest economy with annual GDP in 2017 exceeding 12 trillion US dollars, contributing over 30% to global economic growth. The 19th CPC National Congress laid out the blueprint for China’s future development until mid-21st Century, announcing China’s aspiration to jointly build a community of shared future for mankind.
印尼是具有重要地区和国际影响力的大国。近年来，在佐科总统的坚强领导下，印尼政治稳定，社会和谐，经济保持快速增长。作为邻居和伙伴，我们为印尼人民取得的成就感到高兴。
Indonesia is a major country with significant influence on regional and global arenas. In recent years, under the strong leadership of President Jokowi, Indonesia has enjoyed political stability, social harmony and rapid economic growth. As Indonesia’s neighbor and partner, we feel truly happy for your achievement.
中国的发展不仅将造福中国人民，也将造福世界各国人民。中国进入了新时代，中国和印尼的发展及两国关系也面临历史新机遇。中国愿与印尼一道，继续对接发展战略、实现共同发展，携手推动区域一体化、构建新型国际关系，为地区乃至世界的和平、稳定与繁荣作出更大贡献。
China’s development will benefit not only its people but the rest of the world. As China entered a new era, the development of China and of Indonesia as well as the development of China-Indonesia bilateral relationship are faced with tremendous opportunities. China is ready to work with Indonesia to further promote synergy between development strategies, achieve common development, promote regional integration, and build a new type of international relations, so as to contribute our share to the peace, stability and prosperity in our region and beyond.

作为中国驻印尼大使，我将与印尼方的同事和朋友们一道，为中印尼两国的合作与友谊不懈努力。相信在双方的共同努力和各界朋友的大力支持下，中印尼两国关系将走向更加光明的未来！
As Chinese Ambassador, I am ready to work with colleagues and friends in Indonesia to further advance the friendship and cooperation between China and Indonesia. I am confident that with shared commitment and efforts of both sides and with help and assistance from friends present tonight, the relationship between China and Indonesia will have an even brighter future!
