A term sometimes used in the grammatical classification of verbs to refer to the expression of repeated action. In some languages (e.g. Russian), the class of “frequentatives” may be marked morphologically, but in English the meaning is normally expressed through adverbials of frequency, e.g. again, regularly, often.

语法研究中给动词分类时会采用的术语，指对重复动作的表述。有些语言（例如俄语）中，这类动词有形态标记，但在英语中这种意义用表重复的状语来表达，如“又”“经常”“常常”等。
