Affirmative

肯定式

A term used in grammatical description to refer to a type of sentence or verb which has no marker of negation, i.e. it is expressing an assertion. The “affirmative”, or positive, “pole” of this contrast is opposed to “negative”, and the grammatical system involved is often referred to under the heading of polarity.

语法描写中用来指一类不带否定标记的句子或动词，也就是说，肯定式表达一个断言。与肯定式对立的一“极”是否定式，涉及这一对立的语法系统通常在极性这个名目下讨论。
