Airstream Mechanism

气流机制

A term used in phonetics for a physiological process which provides a source of energy capable of being used in speech sound production. Air is moved inwards or outwards by the movement of this mechanism, producing respectively an ingressive and an egressive airflow.

语音学术语，指一种生理过程，它提供言语音产生的能源。空气通过这一机制的运动吸入或呼出，分别产生内吸和外呼气流。
