Antonymy

反义关系

A term used in semantics as part of the study of oppositeness of meaning. In its most general sense, it refers collectively to all types of semantic oppositeness, with various subdivisions then being made (e.g. between graded antonyms). It is a matter of controversy how many types of opposites one should usefully recognize in semantic analysis, and the use of the term “antonym” must always be viewed with caution.

语义学研究意义对立关系的一个术语。这个术语最广泛的含义是统指各种类型的语义对立，下面再从不同角度分小类，例如区分程度反义词和非程度反义词。语义分析究竟应该区分多少种有用的对立关系，这是个有争议的问题，因此在使用“反义词”这个术语时必须持谨慎态度。
