Neogrammarian

新语法学派

A follower of, or characteristic of the principles of, a nineteenth-century school of thought in comparative philology, initiated by the German scholars K. Brugmann and S. A. Leskien. Their main tenet was that sound laws admitted no exceptions (the neogrammarian hypothesis).

指体现19世纪一种比较语文学学派的理论特点的，或指这种理论的追随者。这一学派的创始人是德国学者K.布鲁格曼和S.A.莱斯基，其主要立场是语音规律不允许有例外（新语法学派假说）。
