Transparent

透明

A term used in several areas of linguistics to refer to an analysis which presents the relevant facts in a direct and perspicuous manner. In generative phonology, for example, transparency refers to the extent to which the applications of a given rule to a given form can be seen in the phonetic output at the end of the derivation. Non-transparent rules are referred to as opaque. The term has also developed special senses in semantics and generative syntax.

语言学的好几个方面指一种分析以直接明了的方式阐述事实。例如生成音系学中“透明性”指，某条规则应用于某个形式，而这可从派生过程最终得到的语音输出中看出。非透明规则称作晦暗规则。这一术语在语义学和生成句法学中另有特殊涵义。
