Spenserian Stanza

斯宾塞诗节

Spenserian stanza is a still longer form devised by Edmund Spenser for The Faerie Queene—nine lines, in which the first eight lines are iambic pentameter and the last iambic hexameter (an Alexandrine), rhyming ababbcbcc. Enchanted by Spenser’s gracious movement and music, many poets have attempted the stanza in spite of its difficulties.

斯宾塞诗节是埃德蒙·斯宾塞为诗歌《仙后》所设计的比八行诗体还更长的诗歌形式。斯宾塞诗节有九行诗句，前八行是抑扬格五音步，最后一行是抑扬格六音步（称为亚历山大体），押韵格式为ababbcbc。许多诗人都为斯宾塞优美流畅的诗行及其音乐效果所吸引，他们不顾这种诗体的难度而竟相采用。
