Welcome to the 8th International Symposium on Second Language Acquisition Research in China, which will be hosted by College of Foreign Languages, Ocean University of China, under the general theme “Second Language Acquisition Research in China in the New Era: Inter-disciplines and Multi-languages”. The symposium serves as a platform to discuss, investigate, and better understand second language acquisition research in China, and encourages academic communication and cooperation by providing opportunities for the exchange of ideas among teachers, researchers and scholars, both at home and abroad.

Abstracts either in English (about 300 words) or in Chinese (about 500 words) are welcome and should be submitted to sla2018@163.com, together with the application form attached below.

Notification of acceptance: September 30, 2018

Conference fee

RMB1000 for working professionals, RMB500 for students. All the transportation and accommodation will be covered by participants.
