为促进生物语言学的发展，经有关专家协商，国际学术期刊Biolinguistics和Cognitive Linguistic Studies将联合举办第三届国际生物语言学研讨会。届时国内外著名专家学者将做大会主旨发言。大会特别欢迎原创性的研究论文。论文将由会议学术委员会进行评审，凡被采纳者，组委会将发出正式邀请函。会议论文将择优在国际学术期刊Cognitive Linguistic Studies, Biolinguistics等上发表。

2nd Call for Papers: the 3rd International Biolinguistics Conference

The 3rd International Biolinguistics Conference will be held on December 7-9, 2018, at University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, Shanghai, China. Abstracts of up to 500 English words are to be submitted to bio2018@usst.edu.cn by November 15, 2018. The Conference will approach the main issues of biolinguistics and some other related questions. The main topics of the conference are as follows:

1. Theories and methods of biolinguistics

2. Biolinguistics and language acquisition and processing

3. Biolinguistics and cognitive linguistics

4. Biolinguistics and neurolinguistics

5. Biolinguistics and language evolution

6. Biolinguistics and cultural linguistics

7. Biolinguistics and animal communication

8. Other issues of biolinguistics

Abstract Submission: Abstracts of 500 English words max. in length are to be submitted to bio2018@usst.edu.cn by November 15, 2018. Articles should be written in English (about 10,000 words).

Conference Fee: 800RMB, students (with valid I.D.): 400RMB.

Conference fee covers attendance to all sessions, lunches and coffee/tea breaks during the conference, welcome reception, conference materials and kit.
