①【例】Your constructive proposals and cooperative attitude have made a deep impression on us.贵方建设性建议和乐于合作的态度给我们留有深刻的印象。

 

②后面可接用for或of。

【例】Your proposal for [of] sole agency is under careful study.

你方独家代理的建议正在我方仔细研究之中。

 

【2】报盘（“建议”的转义）

 

【例】If you think our proposal acceptable, please let us have your order at an early date.

如认为我方报盘可接受，请早日赐予订单。

【1】建议

 

①可接用不定式或动名词，以接用动名词较为普遍。

【例】We propose paying by TT when the shipment is ready.

我们建议在货物备好待运时用电汇付款。

 

②可接用从句，从句中用should或虚拟语气现在时。

【例】We propose that the sellers (should) deliver the goods alongside the ship in the night.

我们建议夜间卖方在船边交货。

 

③过去分词用作定语。

【例】Our investment, i.e. 50 percent of the capital of the proposed joint venture, is to be made partly in cash and partly in machinery and equipment.

我方的投资，即拟议中合资企业资金的50%，一部分出现金，一部分用机械设备顶替。

 

【2】打算

 

可接用不定式或动名词，以接用不定式较为普遍。

【例】We propose to put the matter off till opportunity presents itself.

我们打算把此事搁置起来，等有机会时再议。
