①用作表语和宾语的补语。

【例】The contract will be ready in a few days.

合同数日内将准备好。

 

②后面可接用for。

【例】We hope that by the time you receive the letter, you will have the goods ready for shipment.

希望你方接到此信时已将货物备好待运。

 

③后面可接用不定式。

【例】The contract will be ready to be signed in a week.

合同可在一星期内备好签字。

 

【2】愿意的

 

接用不定式。

【例】We are ready to do business on your behalf when you want an agent here.

当你方需要一家本地的代理商时，我公司情愿代你方从事交易。

 

【3】（市场）畅销的

 

【例】This product of yours has a ready [good] market in Beijing.

你方这种产品在北京很畅销。

 

realistic

合乎实际的，现实的

 

【例】Our prices are realistic in comparison with those of competitors.

同竞争者的价格相比较，我们的价格是很现实的。

 

reality

in reality实际上，事实上

 

【例】In reality, all economic systems contain varying degrees of private enterprise economy and centrally planned economy.

实际上，一切经济制度都不同程度地包含有私人企业经济和中央计划经济成分。
