②统指“资源”或“物力”时，用复数。

我们得知，交易数额激增使你方在资金上承担的压力日益增加。

【1】（写信表示）敬意，问候

 

旧式书信中常将respects（问候）转指“去信”（letter）本身，不宜仿效。

【例】We confirm our respects of the 10th May.

我们确认5月10日去信。

感谢你方在这方面所给予的密切合作。

 

【3】in respect of [to]就……而论

 

【例】In respect to the time of shipment, we want the goods to be delivered in July.

关于装船时间，我们希望7月份交货。
