使有资格，使有权

①接用介词to加名词。句式：entitle sb to sth；被动语态句式：be entitled to sth。

【例】We are enclosing a card which will entitle you to a 10% discount during July on anything you buy in our store.

随函寄去卡片一张，该卡片可使你7月间在我店购买任何货物都享有10%折扣的优惠。

②接用动词不定式。句式：entitle sb to do sth；被动语态句式：be entitled to do sth。
