【2】请求，征求

 

①【例】We invite your enquiries if you consider our samples satisfactory.

如认为我方样品满意，欢迎来函询购。

 

②句式：invite sb to do sth。

【例】We invite you to send us detailed specifications and prices of your belt conveyors.

请寄来皮带运输机的详细规格和价格。

 

invoice

【1】发票，发货票

 

①【例】The manufacturer guarantees the quality of the machine for a period of 18 months from the date of invoice.

制造商保证机器的质量，保证期为自发票日期起18个月。

 

②表示“某货物的发票”，可说invoice for [on] sth。

【例】Enclosed is our proforma invoice in triplicate for Art. No. 1102.

随函附上1102货号的形式发票一式三份。

 

【2】给……开发票

 

①以货物作宾语。

【例】Please invoice the order CIF Hamburg.

请给该货开出CIF汉堡价的发票。

 

②以受票人作宾语。

【例】After shipment you may invoice us on the basis of survey report made out at port of loading.装船之后，你方可按在装船港口所做的检验报告给我公司开出发票。

 

③过去分词作定语。

【例】We duly received the goods invoiced us on 17th March.

贵方3月17日发票中的货物已收到。

 

involve

【1】涉及，牵涉

 

①【例】The matter involves a series of problems, such as patent, pricing of equipment and sales volume of the product.

此事涉及专利、设备的作价及产品销售量等一系列问题。

 

②现在分词短语用作后置定语。

【例】We have been referred to you by ABC Trading Company in your city, who desires to make a purchase from us involving about £20 000 payable by 90 days draft.

你市ABC贸易公司欲向我公司购买价值约2万英镑的货物，以90天期票支付，他们提出可向贵方咨询。

 

③过去分词可作定语，汉语一般可不译出。

【例】The extra premium involved will be for buyers’ account.

额外保险费将由买方负担。

 

【2】使陷入

 

后面常用in。句式：involve sb in sth。

【例】Long credit would involve you in serious risk.

长期信贷会使你方冒严重风险。

 

【3】结果是，必然要（包括）

 

【例】This special discount will involve our selling practically at cost.

给予这一特别折扣，就难免要使我们按成本出售。
