【1】意向,愿望

 

【例】We have a good mind to place a trial order with you.

我们很想向你方提出试订货。

 

【2】keep [bear, have] sth in mind记在心间

 

【例】I must say we always have our customers’ interests in mind.

【3】介意,反对

 

常用于疑问句、否定句或条件句中。

①用作及物动词时,可接用名词或动名词。

【例】Would you mind passing our order to the sales manager?

请将我方订单交给销售经理,好吗?

 

②用作不及物动词

【例】Would you mind if I finished typing these invoices tonight?

假如今晚我打完这些发票,您有异议吗?
