【例】If the supplier fails to deliver any or all of the Goods within the stipulated time of delivery, the Purchaser may, without prejudice to any other remedy for breach of contract, terminate the Contract in whole or in part.

如供方不能在规定交货时间内交付全部或部分货物，购方可全部或部分撤销合同，且撤销合同并不妨碍其他违约补助措施的应用。

【例】If the Supplier, having been notified, fails to remedy the defects(s) of the equipment within a reasonable period, the Purchaser may proceed to take such remedial action as may be necessary, at the Supplier’s risk and expense.

供方接到通知后未能在适当时间内改正设备存在的缺点，购方可采取必要的补救措施，其风险和费用由供方负责。

提醒

 

①宾语后接用不定式。

【例】As for your S/C No.2236, we would like to remind you to deliver the goods on time.

关于你方第2236号销售确认书，我们想提醒你方按时交货。

 

②宾语后接用of。

【例】May we again remind you of the amount due on your account?

请允许我们再次提醒你方到期应付的欠账。

 

③宾语后可接用that从句。

【例】We don’t like to remind a good customer like you that a bill is overdue.

像你公司这样的好客户，我们本不愿提请注意有一笔账款已逾期未付。

 

remit

【1】汇寄

 

①可接用双宾语。

【例】It is hoped that you would be able to remit us the amount of claim at your earliest convenience.

希望你方尽快将索赔款项汇寄我方。

 

②间接宾语前用介词to，句式：remit... to sb；但由于间接宾语短，直接宾语长等原因，to sb可提前。

【例】We hope you will remit to us immediately the commission on the transaction.

我们希望你方立即将这笔交易的佣金汇来。

 

③使用被动形式的不定式作后置定语。

【例】The net amount to be remitted by the agent shall not be less than five percent of the earnings.

代理商汇付的净款额不得低于盈利的5%。

 

【2】汇款

 

【例】Please send documents to us direct and we will remit.

请将单据直接寄来，货款由我们汇去。
