汇款

 

①【例】Please return the enclosed order form with remittance to the address given.

请将所附的订货单及汇款按指定的地址退回。

 

②在make [send] (a) remittance中，a可用可不用。

【例】Kindly give our claim your prompt attention and make (a) remittance before the end of this month.

请迅速处理我方索赔并请在本月底以前汇款。

 

③后面用for... 表示汇款的金额，用to cover... 表示汇款的用途。

【例】They request us to make [send] a remittance for £1,200.

他们要求我们汇款1200英镑。

【1】去掉，除去

 

【例】All marks other than our own and the name of country of origin are to be removed from the crates before shipment.

除我们自己的标记和原产国名称外，其他一切标记都应在装运之前消除掉。

 

【2】迁移

 

【例】We inform you we have removed our office to the new premises at the above address.

①【例】We are prepared to grant you a 5% commission in remuneration for the great efforts you have made to secure the present order.

为酬谢你方获取当前这一订单所尽的巨大努力，我们愿意给予5%的佣金。

 

②可用作n (U)或用作单数名词，前面加用a。

【例】The expenses to be incurred in introducing your products will leave us (a) very small remuneration in the first year.

介绍你方产品所引起的花费将使我们第一年的收益［报酬］十分微薄。
