A: Thanks for coming to this meeting. I know it’s a bit last minute. Jane, would you like to explain what we’ll be working on for the next few days?

B: Sure. We’ve had a last-minute order in today. It’s a big order and we don’t have much lead-time, so we’ll all need to drop whatever we’re doing to work on this.

A: Thanks, Jane. Does anyone have any questions?

A: Friday. That gives us two days to complete them.

A: No, but the client has agreed to come in after lunch this afternoon to agree on a design.

E: Will we need to work after hours?

A: More than likely, yes. We’ll try to avoid that, but some of the teams may need to put in some extra hours.

E: Will we be paid over-time?

A: Unfortunately, you will not receive extra pay for extra hours on this project, but keep track of your hours and you can take time off in lieu.
