The Interview
面试
A: Thanks for coming in today. Was it difficult to find?
B: No, it was pretty straight-forward.
A: There are three parts to the interview today. First we’ll go over the details of the job, then we’ll give you a short test and then we’ll discuss the test and any other outstanding questions. So, have you seen the job profile?
B: Yes, the agency sent me a copy.
A: Great. Did you have any questions about the job profile?
A:好的。
B: Yes, I did actually. I was just wondering who I would report to and where this position sits in the company.
A: Well, the position of Marketing Assistant would report to the Marketing Manager, but would have a dotted line to the Director and Vice President of the Marketing Department.
B: What does that mean exactly?
A: It just means that the Director and VP may ask you to assist them if they need, but that the Marketing Manager would supervise you.
B: I see.
B:明白了。
A: If you don’t have any further questions, then I think we’ll have you start the test. Do you have any questions?
B: No, I think I’m ready for the test.
