现只用于according as，according to两个短语之中。

 

【1】according as 根据，按照

 

【例】We pay commission or no commission according as the goods are industrial products or traditional products.

【1】 账目，账户，欠账

 

①请注意句中与account搭配的动词和介词。

【例】 Your account with us is now more than two months overdue.

②可转作“交易（或主顾）关系”“客户”讲。

【例】 They are eager to secure that customer’s account.

他们急于将那位客户的生意揽到手。

 

【2】（情况的）记述，报告

 

【例】 He gave a detailed account of what happened on the fateful night.

【3】 原因，理由

 

【例】 The toys are required for sale during the festive season, and our shop display is being held up on this account.
