①可接用名词或动名词（偶尔接用不定式）。

【例】We don’t recall the promise we made last year.

我们记不起我们去年所许的诺言。

②可接用that从句。

【例】You will recall that we placed the order mentioned above with our letter of 30th June, 2001, and that you acknowledged it on 7th July.

你们会记得我方2001年6月30日去函提出上述订单，你方7月7日来信确认收到。

recede

常接用from。

【例】They wish to recede from the agreement.

你们想撤销协议。

【2】降低

【例】Prices are receding owing to large arrivals.
