可用as引起补语（下例中as引起了主语的补语）。

【例】The certificates of the Chinese Import and Export Commodity Inspection Bureau are recognized in the world markets as reliable and just.

【2】认识到，认清

 

常接用从句。

【例】We trust you will recognize that this concession must be regarded as exceptional.

我们相信，你们会知道这种减让是例外的。

 

recommend

【1】推荐，介绍

 

①后面可接用双宾语，也可用介词to引起间接宾语。

【例】We have recommended the buyer woolen sweaters and silk pyjamas.

我们已向买方推荐了羊毛衫和丝绸睡衣。

 

②句中可用as与for引出补语。

【例】J. Smith & Co. have recommended your firm as being interested in establishing business relations with us.

J. 史密斯公司介绍你公司愿同我公司建立业务关系。

 

【2】劝告，建议

 

①接用表示行动的名词或动名词（作宾语）。

【例】As you are not familiar with the quality of the product, we recommend buying a small quantity for trial.

由于你方对产品的质量不甚了解，我们建议你方购买少量试用。

 

②宾语后面接用不定式。句式：recommend sb to do sth。

【例】We recommend you to give this your urgent attention.

希望贵方急速处理此事。

 

③接用that从句，从句中用should或虚拟语气现在时。

【例】We recommend that you (should) increase the quantity to a hundred metric tons.

我们建议你方将数量增至100公吨。

 

【3】使受欢迎

 

【例】There is no margin left for bargaining in our quotation, so your counteroffer is not recommended.

我方报价没有讨价还价的余地，因此你方还盘不受欢迎。
