【例】We know little about the said bank for [through] lack of business contact with them.

由于同该银行缺乏业务联系，对他们不甚了解。

②使用单数形式，前面应加a。

【例】This was not only a failure to keep high standards. It was more than a lack of trade discipline.

这不仅是不能符合高标准，简直是比缺乏贸易纪律还不如。
