③这类句子还可用于被动语态句，即将“make +名词”中的名词作主语。

②履行（合约等）
【例】We hope you will see your way to make good the Contract immediately.

①【例】We wish to inform you that your order for black tea has been confirmed, for which we are making out our Sales Confirmation No. 2091.

②过去分词短语用作后置定语。
【例】Concerning our S/C No.1209 made out according to your Indent No. SP021, we have just received your L/C No. CU209 opened with the Bank of China, London.
根据你方第SP021号订单所签订的第1209号售货确认书，我们刚刚收到中国银行伦敦分行开出的第CU209号信用证。
【10】make over把（财产等）转让，移交
【例】Old Mr. Brown is making over his whole business to his son.
老布朗先生正要将其整个企业移交给他的儿子。
【11】make sure保证做到，弄清楚
①接用of。
【例】Before you write your business report, you must make sure of the facts and statistic figures.
在你缮写业务报告之前，你必须弄清楚事实与统计数字。
②接用that从句。
【例】Your firm must make sure that the goods for export are of top quality.
你公司必须确保出口商品要品质优异。
【12】make up
①构成，占
【例】This made up 20% of their total profit.
这是他们总利润的20%。
②赔偿，补足
【例】Since the loss is not negligible, we request you to make up the 80 cases short-shipped.
由于损失不算小，我们要求你方补足短交的80箱（货物）。
【13】make up for赔偿
【例】We are compelled to request your to make up for the loss we have sustained.
