【例】We have taken (due) note of your requirements for plumbing and heating supplies.

【3】注意，知悉
①主语或逻辑主语为you时，可译作“注意”。
【例】Please note that our quotation is inclusive of your commission of 3 percent.
请注意我方报价包括有你方3%佣金。
②主语或逻辑主语为I或we时，note有“动作完成”的含义，可译成“注意到”或“知悉”。
【例】We note from your e-mail of May 2 that you are in the market for chemicals.
从5月2日你方电子邮件得悉，你方要购买化工产品。
③可接用that从句。
【例】We are pleased to note that you will take the standard container system for exports.

【4】提请注意，表明
当主语为第三人称时，动作note作“表明”讲。
【例】The customers noted that they would like to have the goods shipped in June.

【1】通知
①【例】We shall be unable to accept any more orders for this item until further note.
在进一步通知之前，我们不能接受这项商品的其他订货。
②下列句中皆“在（……时间）前发出通知”之意，note前介词可不相同。
【例】The Contract can be terminated at three months’ note from either side.
双方中任何一方皆可于3个月前发出通知，终止本合同。
③后面可接用同位语从句。
【例】We now give you the final note that, unless we receive the money by return of post, we shall adopt measures for its recovery.
现在我们给你方最后通知，除非我们立即收到该款项，我们将采取措施（注：暗指向法院起诉）要求偿还。

美国人有时用on short note。
【例】A tax system should provide adequate revenues to cover government expenditure and should be capable of producing more on short note when circumstances require.

【例】Please send the goods at once and draw on us in the usual way, noticing us when you despatch the goods.
请立即发货并按通常方式向我方开出汇票，发货的同时通知我方。
