【1】全体人员

 

①本身是集合名词。单数的形式表示复数的意思。

【例】If sales go down, they will reduce stocks and, if necessary, they will reduce personnel.

如果销售额下降，他们就减少库存，必要时还要减缩人员。

 

②因其含义是“多数人”（人员），要用复数动词、代词与之呼应。

【例】The personnel feel uneasy about the changes in their corporation.

公司人员对公司的变化感到不安。

 

【2】人事部门或其人员

 

①【例】Personnel has [have] approved her application for resignation.

人事部门已批准了她的辞职申请。

 

②用作定语。

【例】Please approach the personnel department of our corporation directly.

请直接与我公司人事处联系。

【1】劝说，说明

 

①后面可接用不定式。句式：persuade sb to do sth。

【例】Please persuade your clients to accept our terms and conditions.

请劝说你方客户接受我方的条件。

 

②宾语后面可接用into [out of]+名词[动名词短语]。句式：persuade +宾语+ into [out]+名词[动名词]。

【例】Can you persuade the Everbright Bank into providing us with a US$3 000 000 loan?

你能劝说光大银行提供一笔300万美元的贷款给我们吗？

①句式：persuade sb of sth。

【例】How can we persuade our endusers of the competitiveness of your offer?
